Program data and monitoring reports

Participation Rates and Trends - National Bowel Cancer Screening Program - the Australian Institute and Health and Welfare reports regularly on the cancer screening participation rates and trends. National Bowel Cancer Screening Program participation rates are presented for state and territory, the 31 Primary Health Network areas and for more than 300 smaller local areas (SA2s and SA3s) across Australia.

Monitoring Reports - National Bowel Cancer Screening Program - the Australian Institute and Health and Welfare publishes a monitoring report for the Program in around May/June each year. The reports includes data on the participation rate, screening positivity rate, diagnostic assessment rate, time between positive screen and diagnostic assessment, adverse events – hospital admission and bowel cancer incidence and mortality.
