Cervical Screening Essentials Information kit
This kit contains four information sheets to assist health professionals implement the recommendations of the revised Screening to prevent cervical cancer: guidelines for the management of asymptomatic women with screen detected abnormalities.
The Cervical Screening Essentials Information kit includes the following inserts:
- Cervical Screening Essentials (PDF 158 KB) - Implementation of the revised NHMRC Screening to prevent cervical cancer: guidelines for the management of asymptomatic women with screen detected abnormalities, 2005.
- Management summary (PDF 100 KB) - A summary of the management of asymptomatic women with screen detected abnormalities to assist medical practitioners in taking appropriate action on receipt of Pap smear reports.
- Guide to improving participation (PDF 89 KB)- Guide to improving cervical screening rates.
- Q & A sheet (PDF 76 KB) - Some questions you may be asked by women about the guidelines and pap smears and some model answers.
