Request for Tender

Supply and Pathology Analysis of Faecal Occult Blood Test Supplies and Services for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.

The Department of Health and Ageing (the Department) has released a Request for Tender (RFT) to identify a Service Provider that is capable of supplying Faecal Occult Blood Tests Supplies*, Pathology Analysis, and Services for the operation of the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program for the period 1 September 2012 to 28 February 2016 at the best overall value for money for the Department.

The RFT was released on the Austender (www.austender.gov.au) website on Monday 5 December 2011.

The RFT will be open for the period commencing 5 December 2011 and close on 30 March 2012. The Department anticipates that contracts will be in place by the third quarter of 2012.

An Industry Briefing will be held at 10:00am (ACT Local Time) on 14 December 2011. Each Tenderer should register any questions and interest in attending the Industry Briefing by email to the RFT Mailbox (bowelcancerscreeningrft@health.gov.au) by 5.00 pm (ACT Local Time) on 9 December 2011. The Industry Briefing will be held at:

For Tenderers who are unable to attend the Industry Briefing, or if no Industry Briefing is held, an overview including any Health presentation, and all questions asked at the Industry Briefing with answers will be made available by the Contact Officer as an addendum on AusTender.
